Steven Stackley grew up surfing and skating with Rhett in Myrtle Beach S.C.. At sixteen Steven needed a job, so he started working at a steakhouse/buffet. Though the food quality left a great deal to be desired, he was lucky enough to be thrown head first into the life of a line cook where he instantly fell in love with the whole comradery and lifestyle of a cook. Being a competitive person he challenged himself in his career as an aspiring Chef a landed a job working at Sea Island Hotel under the instruction of Chef Sammy Diminich. The menu was on a fourteen day rotation with a soup, salad, bread, three apps, five entrees, and four desserts, each changing daily.
