Hailey
Hailey, who feels lucky to work with the Savory SC crew, met Rhett and Steven shortly after graduating from Johnson and Wales in 2001. At the time, Hailey was Sous Chef of Blossom Café, with Rhett as the lead line cook, and Steven ruling the bakery.
Hailey worked at Atlanticville on Sullivan’s Island while preparing for a sailing/culinary adventure. While on her journey, Hailey was fortunate enough to experience cuisines from the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Panama in addition to many countries in South America. After her travels, she returned to Charleston in 2007 to become the Sous Chef of Mustard Seed in Mt. Pleasant.
As you may already know from “Our Story”, Hailey and Rhett were reunited upon Hailey’s return to the states and later collaborated to open the doors of Savory while also making a new life together. Rhett proposed and soon enough the couple was married at the Tidewater Chapel in Mount Pleasant on February 28, 2010.
Today, Hailey is the heart of Savory. She manages the marketing, catering, and all financial aspects of the restaurant business. She is devoted to the success and continued growth of Savory and looks to provide each guest with a memorable experience.
